SEGA of America, Inc. today announced that it will publish Armored Core 4, the newest addition to FromSoftware's mech-based combat franchise, Armored Core. From the developers of the acclaimed title Chromehounds, Armored Core 4 is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system, in spring 2007. "FromSoftware is a very talented team that specialize in developing mech-based combat games," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "Building on the success of Chromehounds, we believe that Armored Core 4 will deliver an action-packed experience that will not only cater to the diehard fans, but will attract new fans to the mech-based combat genre."
