Overnight, SCEJ released some new information on what downloadable content will be made available on the PlayStation Network at the PS3's launch. If the U.S. content is anywhere near as remarkable, we'll be in a for quite the treat.
The official announcement lists a number of demos, including both e-Distribution titles, as well as the first 10 full PS one games. The downloadable PS one games will only be playable via a PSP for the time being, but soon after launch, they will be made available for play on the PS3 as well. The PS one titles will be able to be downloaded directly to a PSP, or downloaded to the PS3 and then transferred over.
Sony estimates about 10 new PS one titles will be made available every month. This list is obviously for Japan only, and while a number of the games have never even made it to North America, we can expect something similar.
All e-Distribution titles will have a free demo in addition to the ability to purchase or unlock the full game. They have also confirmed that flOw will be a 100% free download for everybody. Prices have not been announced for anything listed, yet.
