We don't usually post scans of gaming magazines, but sometimes there's an exception. On the eve of the Tokyo Game Show, Famitsu magazine had a number of huge exclusives with the most high profile being Metal Gear Solid 4 and Devil May Cry 4, both for the PlayStation 3. Apparently all the screens contained in the scans (which originated from a GA forum user) are 100% real-time, and they certainly look mindblowingly fantastic. Seeing as the events in MGS4 take place a few years later than MGS2, the crotchety old-man Solid Snake (possibly due to cellular degradation?) is especially interesting and a bit weird at the same time. But even from the grainy scans, the amount of detail in the faces and facial expressions of Snake and Dante really show off what we can expect from the next generation. Just wait until we see the games in motion, as the official game trailers and footage should be made available later this week from the Tokyo Game Show. We'll be back with more information from both games when the TGS begins, but for now, check out the scans below.
