Sony announces PSP launch events in San Francisco and NYC

Sony today announced that they'll be kicking off PSP launch festivities both on the East and West Coast.

For the New York City launch, Carson Daly, along with special guests such as SCEA President and Chief Executive Officer Kaz Hirai, will be hosting a premiere party on the night of March 23 for the midnight opening of Sony Style on Madison Avenue. For the San Francisco launch, SCEA Executive Vice President Jack Tretton will preside over the fun.

Prior to doors opening at midnight, consumers will be treated to sneak peeks of new games, giveaways, surprise appearances and more.
