In a surprising move, Electronic Arts and Free Radical Design have announced a publishing and distribution agreement for the next installment in the developer’s popular TimeSplitters first person shooter series. TimeSplitters 3 is scheduled for a 2005 release on unannounced platforms.
"Choosing EA Partners as our publishing partner represents a big breakthrough for Free Radical," said Steve Ellis, Chairman of Free Radical Design. "We're already working hard on the next game, and hope that, with the help of EA Partners, we can reach many new players all over the world."
Eidos Interactive, former publisher of the series, has not released an official comment.
