Tony Stewart becomes EA cover athlete

Planning on picking up NASCAR Thunder 2004? Look for Tony Stewart's mug.

NASCAR Winston Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart is the latest addition to the staple of athletes publisher Electronic Arts has featured on its game covers and advertisements.

“We feel that Tony Stewart epitomizes the competitive spirit that we are capturing in this year’s game,” said Chris Gray, Executive Producer for EA SPORTS NASCAR Thunder.

Stewart will help represent the upcoming NASCAR Thunder 2004, aimed for a fall release on PlayStation 2, PlayStation and Xbox. The PC version will be released next week.
