USC vs. UCLA Prediction Highlights

The game was a blowout from the beginning. USC dominated in the air with WR Mike Williams leading the way. USC took the lead on the first drive of the game and never looked back, with the aid of some big third down conversions by running backs LenDale White, Hershel Dennis and wide receiver Mike Williams. The UCLA defense fell apart several times as USC scored with ease. USC dominates, winning 44-20.

Michigan vs. Ohio State. Prediction Highlights

Michigan RB Chris Perry helped the Wolverines control the clock, and the game, with over 100 yards rushing as the Wolverines took a 10-0 halftime lead. Ohio State fought back with an early score in the third quarter on a TD pass from QB Craig Krenzel to WR Drew Carter to cut the lead to 10-7. But Perry continued to run strong in the second half wearing down the Buckeyes defense. A couple of fourth quarter interceptions by Michigan against a frustrated Krenzel sealed the game for Michigan as the Wolverines defeated the Buckeyes 24-20.

Auburn vs. Alabama Prediction Highlights

The Auburn defense is just too much for Alabama to handle as the Tigers cause several key Crimson Tide turnovers to hold on for the victory in the in-state rivalry. Linebacker Karlos Dansby is all over the field reeking havoc on the Alabama offense, stripping RB Shaud Williams of the ball, which is recovered by Auburn teammate Dontarrious Thomas late in the fourth quarter. Campbell drives the Tigers down the field with minutes running out for another nail-biting finish. With Alabama unable to make a goal line stand, Carvell Williams busts through the line for a 1-yard TD. Tigers beat the Crimson Tide 27-24.

    Passing
    Auburn-Campbell-17 of 30, 284 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
    Alabama-Croyle-20 of 35, 302yards, 1 TD, 2 INT

    Alabama-Fletcher-10 catches, 115 yards, 1 TD

    Final Score: Auburn 27 - Alabama 24

Nebraska vs. Colorado Prediction Highlights

Trying to keep the ball away from the explosive Nebraska offense, Colorado played ball-control football throughout the first half, relying on running back Brian Calhoun to be the workhorse. Unfortunately the Cornhuskers Jamal Lord ran all over the Colorado defense and distributed the ball to a plethora of receivers to keep the Buffalos defense guessing. With five minutes on the clock Colorado's quarterback Joel Klatt drove his team down the field in desperation and scored on a spectacular throw to Derek McCoy for a 33-yard touchdown pass. After an unsuccessful onside kick, Nebraska was able to run out the clock and beat Colorado 30-27.

    Passing
    Nebraska-Lord-19 of 27, 163 yards, 2 TD
    Colorado-Klatt-31 of 44, 223 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

    Nebraska-Lord-17 carries, 83 yards, 1 TD
    Colorado-Calhoun-27 carries, 112 yards, 2 TD

    Receiving
    Nebraska-Herian-7 catches, 98 yards, 1 TD
    Colorado-McCoy-6 catches, 89 yards, 1 TD

    Final Score: Nebraska 30 - Colorado 27

Florida vs. Florida St. Prediction Highlights

The game was an offensive shootout between the two rivals. It was the Rix/Jones show in the first half with the Seminoles showing an impressive running game. Jones had his way and manhandled the Gators defense rushing for 65 yards in the first half. In the second half Florida quarterback Chris Leak picked up the pace by utilizing the talents of wide receivers Carlos Perez and Kelvin Kight and tight end Ben Troupe to spread out the Seminoles defense allowing Ran Carthon to get some much needed rushing yards. The game came down to the wire, but the potent Florida offense and freshman sensation Chris Leak were just too much for the Florida St. defense to handle. Gators seal the victory winning 34-30.

    Passing
    Florida-Leak-31 of 40, 203 yards, 2 TD
    Florida St.-Rix-25 of 37, 248 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT

    Florida-Carthon-17 carries, 101 yards, 2 TD
    Florida St.-G. Jones-16 carries, 112 yards, 2 TD

    Florida St.-Sam-7 catches, 97 yards, 1 TD
