It might only be the spiritual successor to Square’s lengthly and long talked about PlayStation RPG Xenogears, but fans are already clamoring to get their hands on the game when it arrives this fall, published by Namco, developed by Monolith (no, not the developer of No One Lives Forever). Final Fantasy X has the strangle hold on PlayStation 2 RPGs at the moment, but Xenosaga looks to overtake it when it hits; its visuals are astounding, and hopefully it will have the gameplay to make it all work.
