Today Sierra Studios announced that Ground Control, which was developed by Massive Entertainment, would continue in an official expansion pack titled, Ground Control: Dark Conspiracy. High Voltage Software is taking the reigns of this project while Massive Entertainment works in conjunction with them.
Dark Conspiracy will continue the story of Sarah Parker and her tireless struggle against the Order of the New Dawn. The new story will take place over fifteen new missions that take place in completely new environments which hold new types of terrain as well as new dangers. The expansion pack will also add a completely new faction to play as, and new units added to the two older factions.
It is also reported several new multiplayer modes will be added to the current list.
