Video Systems announces 2 new F1 titles
The Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 both get new Formula 1 GP games.
Leading Japanese Formula One racing simulation video game developer and publisher Video System today announced a host of outstanding Formula One driving simulation releases for the third quarter of 2000.

"This is going to be our biggest year to date," says Video System's Development Co-ordinator, Amanda Armer-Ojok.

Video System are set to publish F1 World Grand Prix 2 for Dreamcast August 2000. This will be their second Dreamcast release, and follow up to last year's successful F1 World Grand Prix for Dreamcast.

By Christmas 2000, Video System will release F1 World Grand Prix 2000, their first highly anticipated release for Playstation2. Both the new Formula One Dreamcast and PlayStation2 racing simulation releases will be represented at E3.

Also on display at this year's E3 will be F1 World Grand Prix for PC and F1 World Grand Prix 2000 Season (PlayStation). Both titles will be published by Video System and developed and distributed by Eidos.

"Video System have successfully held the license to develop and publish official Formula One racing simulation games for the past eight years," says Armer-Ojok. One of our primary aims is to establish Video System as a global player in the videogame arena."

Continues Armer-Ojok, "Because Video System has already achieved nationwide awareness as one of the most established computer game publishers in Japan, the time is ripe to start building up our profile in Europe and North America. We believe E3 will give us the perfect platform to achieve this goal."
