Conker: Live and Reloaded made its second appearance at the Xbox E3 booth. But this time around it's more polished, prettier, and focused.
The E3 demo was set up for networked multiplayer play and it worked without a hitch. Players were able to start out from different areas, all of which had an industrial complex in a mountainous area. The Halo-type controls are easy to pick up, and there is a good amount of variety in the weaponry. Pick up a rocket launcher and you can choose whether you want a normal or homing fire. When you choose homing, you have full control of the rocket once it's fired. It's pretty damn fun to fire a rocket, control a rocket from first-person, and have it hit somebody dead on. There's also gun turrets and vehicles on the field to reek more havoc.
The sights are great so far with bright colors, detailed terrain textures and hefty explosions. The sound was excellent with every fire and boom rattling the speakers. Also in the game is Conker's mature humor. You'll hear a lot of funny comments and jokes that falls right into the crude squirrel's world.
The only backfall in gameplay during the multiplay session was that everyone was very far apart from each other. The level was huge and it was difficult to find somebody to immediately squash.
Conker: Live and Reloaded is set to tear up bears and squirrels in March 2005.
