Screens Updated: 5/12/2004 The Sims 2 is looking rather steamy, but Eidos' Singles: Flirt Up Your Life definitely looks to take the theme a little bit further. Check it out.
German developer Rotobee and Eidos Interactive are entering the largely untapped relationship simulation market with Singles: Flirt Up Your Life, scheduled for a summer release on the PC via Deep Silver's download service. “Eidos is taking the idea of reality simulation up several notches to a new, unhindered level of gameplay, offering consumers the opportunity to not only develop relationships and manipulate character interactions, but to also take on a voyeuristic role that is so popular in today’s reality television shows,” said Tom Marx, project manager at Eidos. ”Singles breaks the barriers and paves the way for more jaw-dropping, eye-popping fun the way reality simulation should be.” Singles: Flirt Up Your Life places gamers in the role of a matchmaker, with over a dozen different personalities at their fingertips. Once two characters are developed, the duo is dumped into a cramped apartment situation as roommate and it is up to players to determine how the relationship forms from there. Manipulating the actions of the two will give insight into the likes, dislikes and interests of each character, aiding in the journey toward love.
