 The citizens of Rubi-Ka are about to wake up to a menace more threatening than any clan rivalry: an alien invasion. In the next expansion pack for Funcom's massively multiplayer online role-playing game Anarchy Online, the world gamers have become so accustomed to is thrown upside down when hostile invaders decide the planet is theirs for the taking.
"With 'Anarchy Online - Alien Invasion' we continue our focus on fun and fast-paced gameplay within a sci-fi setting," said Game Director Marius Enge. "While Anarchy Online is already considered to be one of the best MMORPG's on the market, we believe that the exciting new features in Alien Invasion will take it to a whole new level." Only by working together will the alien menace be stopped, introducing a whole new level of team-based play to Anarchy Online. Funcom hasn't announced a solid release date for Anarchy Online: Alien Invasion, but we expect more details to become clearer leading up to the game's E3 showing.
