Ubisoft announces Just Sing for PS4, Xbox One

Just-Sing-logoWith Just Dance still apparently performing quite well for Ubisoft, the company is ready to roll out yet another "Just" music title — this time focusing on just the singing.  Appropriately titled Just Sing, the new music game is headed to the PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th.

Just Sing will require either a PS Camera/Kinect or a modern iOS or Android device, and will feature 40 popular tracks to take on. Players can party with friends or battle it out as they sing or lip-sync, and Just Sing will record the end result and allow players to customize and share their creations.

Just Sing screens:

Ubisoft is expanding its reach in the music category with its all-new foray into the genre, Just Sing. Following in the footsteps of the successful music titles Just Dance and Rocksmith, Just Sing will have players singing or lip-syncing their way to living room or online fame through an epic tracklist that includes songs from Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainor, Sia, One Direction and Queen. So start warming up those vocal cords because Just Sing will launch on September 6 on Playstation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One.

With more than 40 tracks to choose from including classic hits like Queen’s “I Want to Break Free” as well as today’s hottest tracks like “What Do You Mean?” from Justin Bieber, players will unleash their inner star and can either record their voice or lip-sync along. All Just Sing moments can be customized with themes and filters, letting players get creative with their videos, and are easily sharable with friends and the Just Sing community.

Music videos will be captured through the free Just Sing Companion App for iOS and Android* or via Kinect for Xbox One or PlayStation Camera. To use the Just Sing Companion App, players just connect their smartphones and console to the same Wi-Fi network and they’ll be ready to belt their hearts out.

Just Sing features two different modes:

  • Party mode: Players can create their own music videos with up to four players as they sing along to or lip-sync their favorite songs.
  • Battle mode: One player will face off with a friend in a 1v1 singing battle. In this mode, choose between several themed special effects that will automatically be displayed to enhance the competitive spirit.
