Nintendo announces PAX Prime 2015 lineup

nintendo-logoNintendo has spilled the beans on their upcoming PAX Prime 2015 lineup and events, and they definitely have a nice time planned for attending fans.

Star Fox Zero, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes,  Super Mario Maker, Skylanders SuperChargers Racing and more will all be on hand and playable.  They will also have a Nindies lounge for upcoming/recently released indie-developed Wii U/3DS titles.

There will also be a Xenoblade Chronicles X panel, a number of tournaments for variou games, and more fun activities.

Nintendo has a great lineup of games, including unreleased titles like Star Fox Zero, Super Mario Maker, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes and Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash, and a slew of fun activities in store for people attending the PAX Prime video game event in Seattle. Fans can also attend a Xenoblade Chronicles X panel and visit the Nindies showcase to play great indie games, including some that will launch later this year.

?PAX Prime takes place in our backyard, so we like to pull out all the stops for fans,? said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America?s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. ?We have some great unreleased titles for attendees to play including Star Fox Zero, which has been receiving positive accolades, and The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, a unique multiplayer entry in The Legend of Zelda series.?

Games scheduled to be playable on the show floor at the Washington State Convention Center Aug. 28-31 include Star Fox Zero, Super Mario Maker,The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash, Splatoon (which will include both the recently announced August update and TRANSFORMERS Splatfest content on Aug. 29) and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Attendees can also play Skylanders SuperChargers Racing for Nintendo 3DS (with guest stars Bowser and Donkey Kong) for the first time in public and check out a variety of upcoming amiibo figures.

Fans of the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles X game for the Wii U console will want to sit in on a panel discussion led by representatives from the Nintendo Treehouse. Attendees will get a look at concept art, learn the inspiration behind the game, check out new game play and participate in a fan Q&A session. The panel will take place on Aug. 29 from 2:30 ? 3:30 p.m. PT in Wyvern Theater.

During the show, there will be several PAX-sponsored tournaments and fan gatherings featuring a variety of Nintendo 3DS games, including Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Pok?mon Omega Ruby and Pok?mon Alpha Sapphire. Attendees who want to participate in the fun should bring their Nintendo 3DS systems with them to the show.

At the adjacent Sheraton Seattle Hotel, Nintendo will host a dedicated Nindies lounge showcasing 13 independent games made for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Visitors can play the games and talk to the developers themselves. Indie games that will be playable include:

Anyone arriving in Seattle early for PAX Prime might also want to check out the Nindies@Night event at EMP Museum. The free event is open to the public and starts at 8 p.m. on Aug. 27. Attendees can experience several activities, including announcements, playable Nindie games, food and drinks, giveaways and gaming competitions.
