Yes, Borderlands 2 for the PS Vita is still coming, and thanks to an update from SCEA, 2K Games and Gearbox, we have learned that it's coming in the very near future — (beginning on) May 6th to be exact.
Sony is launching the Borderlands 2 Limited Edition PlayStation Vita Bundle on the 6th (available on Amazon right here), which includes the new slimmer PS Vita hardware, an 8GB Memory Card and Borderlands 2 Full Game PSN voucher for $199.99. The game will be available a la carte, at retail and on the PS Store, a week later on May 13th.
The PS Vita version will be packed with six add-on packs and feature cross save with the PS3 version, so you can pick up where you left off. Four player online co-op of course is included as well.
Take a look at a pair of screens and the new announce trailer, which shows off the PS Vita version of the game in action. It's not a bad looking port judging by the footage.
