In case you missed Nintendo's Nintendo Direct event from this morning, one of the bigger pieces of news was the spring 2014 release date for Mario Kart 8. And for those still waiting/hoping it looks awesome — it does. Awesome enough to "save" the Wii U? Well, we'll see.
