There’s definitely going to be DLC for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

the bureau light plasma gunThe Bureau: XCOM Declassified doesn’t hit store shelves until August 20th for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, but 2K Games and 2K Marin announced their DLC plans for the game post-launch. The first bit of DLC will be a timed exclusive for Xbox 360 owners, and all DLC planned seems to be narrative based, which I assume would mean single-player focused content.

Those of you planning on pre-ordering the game will also get an exclusive mission add-on day one called “Codebreakers”. And those that pre-order through GameStop will also get access to the Light Plasma Pistol available exclusively through the retailer.

In addition to the press release contained below, check out a new preview trailer showcasing some of the more tactical elements of The Bureau’s unique third-person shooting, and head over to the official Facebook page for a 12-minute look at the type of gameplay you can expect to see when the game hits August 20th.
