Call of Duty: Black Ops II is now officially Amazon's most pre-ordered game of all time… among all platforms. Not surprisingly, the previous record holder was CoD: Modern Warfare 3.

This week, Call of Duty: Black Ops II broke Amazon’s record for most pre-ordered video game of all time (of any platform), shattering a record previously held by its predecessor Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The game will be released on November 13th; customers who pre-order the game from Amazon will receive an Amazon exclusive Kindle backstory, Rightful King, on villain Raul Menendez, the Nuketown 2025 bonus map and an Amazon exclusive Call of Duty: Black Ops II Wallpaper.
Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty®: Black Ops II propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare.
