If you didn’t happen to turn on your PS3 last night, then you may not know that there’s a fresh new piece of Firmware ready for you to download.
PS3 System Software 4.10 was pushed out last night, and besides the whole PlayStation Network to Sony Entertainment Network changes, the web browser, after all this time, was upgraded a bit. It has better support for interactive websites (Flash update maybe?) and improved rendering speed. Based on the couple of minutes we spent testing it out last night, it did seem both faster and more stable, and certain sites that had issues before, definitely looked better.
You can also set the PS3 to always get the latest time/date from the internet, instead of manually telling it to do so.
